The direct injection engine type is an engine technology that is increasingly used in today's cars. We can summarize the difference of this engine type from other engine types used today as the fuel is directly injected into the cylinder under high pressure instead of the manifold. In this way, the fuel/air mixture is distributed completely homogeneously in the combustion chamber. This is the most important feature that distinguishes this type of engine from other engines and provides high performance at all engine speeds.

Especially PRINS autogas systems and LOVATO LPG systems have pioneered this new technology, completed their R&D studies and introduced autogas systems to the market. As a result of long studies, the PRINS liquid LPG system and Lovato's direct injection (gas phase) systems, which are perfectly adapted to this engine, are now used all over the world and in our country. As Candan Mühendislik, we are installing LPG systems on GDI-TSI-FSI-TFSI-ECOBOSST engines with increasing frequency in our services.
ECONOMIC RETURN OF THE SYSTEM
As it is known, fuel savings of 40-50% are achieved in sequential autogas systems, while in direct injection systems, approximately 30-35% savings are achieved in LOVATO gas phase systems and 50% in PRINS liquid LPG systems. The reason for the high savings rate in the PRINS liquid LPG system is that the vehicle runs on gas only, without consuming any petrol. Depending on the frequency of use of the car owner, it can amortize its cost within an average of one year.
